The Batch Ledger

Every jar carries a batch number on its base. Bring it here and the ledger will tell you where that batch grew, when it was gathered, what the laboratory found in it, and anything else we wrote down, which is everything.

Or scan the little code on the label: it opens the batch's own page.

Specimen of the Season — Autumn

Golden Chanterelle

Cantharellus roseocanus

It arrives with the first cold rains, gold against the moss under the spruce, and smells faintly of apricots. False gills, true colour. We leave the small ones to grow and take only what the day needs. Kane carries the basket, and has never once been asked to.
